Israeli Society of Periodontology Site
Overview
A facelift for the Israeli Society of Periodontology site.
The need to renew the site was because the previous site did not provide a correct response to the target audience's needs: intuitive navigation, quick information consumption, and reaching a gums specialist with a single click.
These goals were considered during the research and UX stage until the design process began.
User Experience Process
As a project leader, I started a process of in-depth research, brainstorming, information architecture, site characterization, design, ongoing work with the development team, and user testing.
1.
Depth research
In order to know the target audience, I embarked on an in-depth research that included:
-
Market research
-
Questionnaires
-
In-depth interviews
-
Usage scenarios
2.
Arranging information
Mapping user flows and creating information architecture
3.
Choosing a leading concept for the site
4.
Following the research, three concepts were proposed. After a thorough selection session, one of the concepts was selected to lead the entire site.
Prototypes, High Fidelity Mocks, Illustrations & Motion Design
Detailed characterization of the entire site, including the final stage Interactive Prototype
5.
Website design and development
Based on the UX methodology, I initiated an extensive design process, including rebranding. The design was delivered to the development team, which received a detailed Style Guide. I was involved in all the development stages, until the development completion, site launch. And usability testing.
